my thoughts about this: she just went back home, back into the stars...
There is a folk tale that tells the story about a man who wanted so much to touch a star with his very own hands...
Once at dawn, it came down and made the man really really happy. They talked all day long, telling each other about memories past, and so on.
By the time just before dusk the star asked the man to walk her to the world´s highest hill. Once there, the star told it was about her time to go, the man stared at her but couldnt understand why did she had to leave, all in all they had had the greatest time together.
The star explained that because of its nature, she couldnt stay for more than a day in a life time, that she belonged in the sky. All this said, the man went very sad. The star told the man to walk down the hill eyes closed and to look back when in the foothills and that she would be there at his sight. The man did so, but when he looked back the star was already in the sky, all gleaming in full heights and staring at the man.
She was gone.
The man had never noticed that this star was the brightest among the stars and that its light was the sky´s most beautiful.
He tried talking to her but there was no answer, it seemed that the star had gone numb.
He came back night after night but there was never a response.
Long time passed and he figured out that if he went up enough the hill, maybe he could reach out and touch her again... only once again. He would go up and up but never seemed to reach the top...
Nobody knows what happened to the man, they just say he went up the hill to never came down again...
